Monday the 26th of April marked an important point in the development of the Gemmayze Municipal Library for the architecture students studying with Christopher Burns and Jean-Marc Abcarius. The jury also included Elie Harfouche, currently teaching Design VI.
The students exhibited their designs on A1 sheets in the form of plans and sections as well as a model all in scale 1:100. A 1:500 site model was also used for students to place their volumetric models inside.
Certain projects were discussed extensively as the jury continued until 8pm.
The remaining four weeks of the semester will be dedicated to organizing the structure of the buildings and designing their facades, as well as finalizing details.
In the mean time Interior Design students of the same level presented their projects which are in the completion stages.
